I've been approached by a corporation that might sponsor a sailing trip around the world to demonstrate the success of a medical procedure I've had. What would you do if you had a half a million to spend on a stable boat, (I favor a catamaran), room for 6, and long term cruising capabilities? Possible 2012 departure.

This is getting exciting, so far we have a gimp(me) retired cop, a nurse, an accountant, we're only missing a cook, a lawyer, and a cardiologist!
