I just ran accross this webpage, thought I would forward it on. I do not know these guys and know nothing about their program. Just passing on the info.

I myself am sailing to Honolulu the same day the race starts (first start on July 1) on s/v EPIC.

cheers -

Hey Mikey how are you? Oh these dudes are serious racers, they are hardcore! I am familiar with them!

Hey there Lori. Just got back from Honolulu. The crossing was great ...lumpy but exciting. Looks like the boat I gave the link to here may not have been the one to take the ride on. Glad nobody did. Here is their account of it all as they were forced to withdraw from the race and head for SF: http://www.vicmaui.org/teams?articleid=179 .

My GF Gail surpised me on the docks at the Ala Wai marina in Honolulu and then on Sunday just on the other side of the jetty where the surfers launch on Waikiki beach ...she propesed to me. I of course said yes. The advantage to taking a trip like this with three professional photographers became apparent as the picture of the moment was documented with Diamond Head in the background. Who Hoo!

Back to work today. I am getting land sick again today ...and having a hard time checking back in.
