How many more times are you going to read about the great Share The Sail events or the International Cruisers' Parties and tell yourself, "Someday we are gonna do that!"? This November you can join Bob & Jody and the Lats&Atts staff, as well as the TV crew, and sail the beautiful British Virgin Islands on a flotilla of great sailboats from Sunsail! We have set it up for a great week's voyage through the islands where you will find some of the best sailing in the world! You share the sail with other Lats&Atts readers. But wait! There's more! As a Share The Sail participant you will also enjoy the 2009 International Cruisers' Party at Pusser's on beautiful Marina Cay with Eric Stone live in concert! It's included! Have your own boat in the area? Join us. But you must pre-register for the party! Yes, we know the economy sucks right now... but this is a way to live your dream without the cost of buying a boat and getting it to the BVIs.
We have booked some Sunsail boats. They are four cabin Beneteau 43's and 47's. Each boat will have 6-8 people and will have partial provisioning. We board the boats on Friday at 1800. We disembark at 0900 the following Friday.
The International Cruisers Party sponsored by Pusser's will be held Nov 19th on Marina Cay in The BVI's at 4PM. The International Cruisers Party is open to all cruisers. Tickets are available for people interested who are not on the Share The Sail Adventure for only $35 per person. Click here to order your tickets. Share The Sail participants will be included automatically.
The airport code for Tortola BVI is EIS. Airfares are cheap right now. All additional information on the party, side-trips, hotels, airport transfers etc will emailed to you directly … if you have your spot reserved.

These are not captained charters with deckhands serving your drinks. This is a share the adventure. All those aboard are expected to share in setting the sails, dropping anchor, raising same, meal preparation and cleanup. This is as close as you can get to real cruising without casting off on your own boat!
Costs and Inclusions
Share the Sail rates are as follows:
Couples - $3990 for two, own stateroom
Singles - $2200 shared ($3300 for own double stateroom)
$100 off either for LACC members.
Includes: Big BVI International Party and as always; boat, taxes, fees, skipper and partial provisioning (simple breakfasts, lunches and a few dinners onboard, people tend to want meals ashore).
Airfare and transfer is not included.
A half down deposit is required to secure your spot with the balance due 60 days prior to departure. Deposits are only refunded if a replacement can be found under the same terms.
