Cruiser's Weekend at Catalina

Two Harbors, Oct 15-17, 2010

Come join us on our favorite island for a free cruiser's party from Lats & Atts!

Friday evening: A warm up bender on the bar deck with Eric Stone
(freshly flown in from el Carib).

Saturday: Cruising Seminars from Cruising Experts. Seminars on boat prep, weather,
cruising gear and tactics for cruising bliss. After lunch Captain Woody dinghy oar race ('cause everyone likes a dinghy 'oar).

Saturday night: The big Eric Stone concert on stage with free beer and wine until it runs out. 20' of hot BBQ is provided for bring-your-own meat and potluck apps. Raffle tickets are sold cheap at the concert to people who want to participate in the Sunsail Carib charter and boat gear give-aways. Some of those proceeds go to the non-profit, restoring the square rigger Charles Morgan.

The good folks at Port Royal Yacht Club have stepped up to partner with us, providing organizational support for the event. Thanks PRYC!

Consistent with better cruising spots, there are not a lot of tourist facilities at the Isthmus.

Here is some info on the Isthmus (Two Harbors) and the only lodging I know about:
